READ MORE47201-12B61 Brake Master Cylinder For Toyota is a core brake component designed for Corolla and other cars. As the pressure conversion center of the hydraulic brake system, its core function is to accurately convert the driver's pedal force into hydraulic energy, and distribute the pressure evenly to the front and rear brake cylinders through a dual-chamber series structure to achieve efficient vehicle deceleration and parking. The master cylinder is cast with high-strength alloy material, and the master cylinder can withstand 32MPa hydraulic pressure. It is suitable for 2009-2013 Corolla LE and STD models, especially optimized for the braking requirements of the 1.8L 2ZR-FE engine version.
The 47201-12B61 master cylinder adopts a dual-piston structure, equipped with compensation holes and fast filling valve technology to ensure the stable flow of brake fluid under frequent braking conditions. Its piston sealing system is made of high-temperature resistant fluororubber material, with a temperature range of -40°C to 180°C. Combined with the electrophoretic anti-rust treatment process, it effectively resists brake fluid corrosion and extreme climate effects. After 15 consecutive 100-0km/h emergency braking, the hydraulic pressure fluctuation amplitude of the master cylinder is less than 0.5MPa, and the temperature gradient difference of the friction surface is controlled within ±20°C, which is perfectly suitable for urban congestion and long-distance driving scenes.
In terms of adaptability, the master cylinder strictly follows Toyota's original OE standards. Its threaded interface and oil pipe layout fully match the brake system architecture of the Corolla model, avoiding leakage or ABS system mis-triggering problems caused by tolerances. In addition to the 2009-2013 Corolla, its compatibility also extends to some 2014-2017 models of the same platform, which need to be accurately matched through the VIN code or the original master cylinder engraved number.
