1. Regular inspection and oil management
Check the liquid level of the reservoir in the clutch master cylinder every month to ensure that the liquid level is between the "Max" and "Min" scales. If the liquid level drops abnormally, it is necessary to check whether there is leakage in the seal ring, oil pipe or master cylinder. In addition, it is recommended to replace the brake fluid every 2 years or 40,000 kilometers to prevent the boiling point of the oil from decreasing after absorbing moisture, resulting in air blockage or hydraulic failure. During use, you should also pay attention to the color of the oil. If the oil is found to be turbid or contains impurities, it needs to be replaced immediately.
2. Sealing and exhaust
Pay attention to check the sealing of the master cylinder piston leather cup, oil pipe joint and dust cover. If oil stains or dust cover damage are found, they need to be replaced in time to avoid pedal weakness or inability to separate due to oil leakage. After maintenance or replacement of oil, the air in the hydraulic pipeline needs to be discharged by the "stepping-loosening the air vent bolt" operation until the oil flows out continuously without bubbles.
3. Environment and cleaning maintenance
Regularly clean the surface and surrounding areas of the master pump to prevent dust and sludge from entering the pump body, which may cause the piston to get stuck or the seal to age faster. When used in special temperature environments, it is necessary to use low-temperature or high-temperature resistant sealing materials to avoid leakage or abnormal piston movement resistance due to thermal expansion and contraction.
